NZXT H210i Mini-ITX RGB Gaming Case - Black Tempered Glass
£139.99
The NZXT H210i is the successor of the H200i. Like its predecessors, the Mini-Tower offers a proven, no-frills design. The mounting mechanism of the tempered glass side panel has been optimised and now requires only one screw at the rear of the case. This gives a cleaner look and the glass is under less total tension. In addition, NZXT has installed a Smart Device V2 to control fans and RGB LED accessories and has also refreshed the front panel with new connectivity options.
THE FEATURES OF THE NZXT H210I-MINI-ITX PACKAGE AT A GLANCE:
NZXT has opted for the tried and tested shape of the H210i's predecessor with smooth outer surfaces and attractive proportions. Changes in appearance are primarily of a practical nature: the tempered glass side panel of the predecessor was attached to the chassis with four knurled screws. On the NZXT H210i, on the other hand, the side surface is completely flat. A single thumbscrew on the back of the case provides a secure grip and easier access to the inside of the computer.
As a special feature the NZXT H210i mini tower has an integrated controller with NZXT CAM support, called the Smart Device V2. It is used to control the pre-installed NXZT Aer F fans and the NXZT HUE 2 RGB-LED strips included with the case, which are visible through the tempered glass window. A total of nine fans can be connected to the three PWM connectors via Y-cables. The RGB connectors together support four HUE 2 strips or up to five NZXT Aer RGB fans. An acoustic sensor helps to determine the optimum balance between cooling and noise. The system is controlled via the feature-rich software on the PC.
AIR AND WATER COOLING OPTIONS
If you rely on traditional air cooling, the NZXT H210i offers a lot despite its compact dimensions: At the front there is room for two 140 or 120 fans and in the roof as well as in the back wall there is room for one 120 mm fan each. For CPU coolers, a maximum height of 165 millimetres is provided. NZXT equips the Mini Tower as standard with in-house fans from the Aer series: A black 120 model is pre-installed in the cover and on the back. The fans ensure a plentiful supply of fresh air. Removable dust filters are mounted on the front and under the power supply unit.
The installation of a custom water cooling system was also taken into account: In front the user can install a 240 mm radiator. In addition, a 120 heat exchanger can be installed on the rear wall. In the front 85 millimetres of space are provided along with 42 millimetres on the rear wall. On the cable cover between motherboard and the front of the case, a reservoir and pump with up to 150 mm total height can be installed.
PLENTY OF SPACE FOR HARDWARE COMPONENTS
The interior of the NZXT H210i is limited, but well structured. Only Mini-ITX format motherboards can be used. Two slots are available for expansion cards. Graphics cards may be up to 325 millimetres long.
Like its predecessors, the NZXT H210i has no external drive bays. Internally, however, a quite large number of storage drives can be installed: Under the power supply cover a 3.5 inch hard disk can be installed in the bottom of the case. The holes are also suitable for a 2.5-inch drive should you prefer.
Behind the motherboard tray, there is space for two 2.5-inch drives mounted vertically and another 2.5-inch drive on the side of the motherboard tray. This makes it possible to mount up to four 2.5-inch drives or three 2.5-inch SSDs as well as a 3.5-inch hard disk. Behind the motherboard tray there are dedicated rails for cable routing. There is about 16.3 millimetres of space available for discretely stowing away unsightly cables.
